Fadime TİKBAŞ is an Associate Professor in Turkish Folklore at Adıyaman University's Department of Turkish Language and Literature. She completed her doctorate at Ondokuz Mayıs University analyzing marvel motifs in Anatolian Turkish tales, and her master's at Gazi University on cultural functions of puzzles. Her research encompasses folk beliefs, mythology, museology, and applied folklore.
Since 2018, she has served as Department Head and Bologna/Erasmus Coordinator. Publications include studies on mythological analysis, cultural symbols, and Ottoman-era women depictions. She edited volumes on Turkish folk theatre and winter traditions in literature.
