Haley Keglovits is a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University. She recently completed her PhD in Cognitive Science at Brown University under David Badre and holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Education:
- PhD in Cognitive Science, Brown University
- BS in Computer Science and Cognitive Science, University of California, Berkeley
Her research bridges cognitive neuroscience and artificial intelligence to investigate how the human brain organizes information for complex behavior. Using fMRI and computational modeling, she examines neural representation geometry in prefrontal cortex during task control, focusing on how biological and artificial networks configure flexible actions through task-structured data representation.
Her publication record reveals consistent investigation into neural representation dimensionality and task control mechanisms, with recent work emphasizing fMRI-based analysis of prefrontal cortex activity patterns during structured cognitive tasks. The research trajectory shows increasing integration of computational modeling with empirical neuroscience to decode control representation frameworks.
Scientific Awards:
- Excellence in Teaching Award for Introduction to Programming course at Brown University (Spring 2022)
Dr. Keglovits maintains an active teaching portfolio across diverse educational contexts, developing inclusive curricula for programming and AI education while collaborating with Brown's Sheridan Center and the national Center for Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning to advance pedagogical practices. She currently conducts research in Talia KonKle's laboratory at Harvard, extending her prior work with David Badre at Brown and Silvia Bunge/Anne Collins at Berkeley.
