Hakim Weatherspoon is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Cornell University, serving as Associate Director of the Cornell Institute for Digital Agriculture (CIDA) and CEO/co-founder of Exotanium, Inc. He holds a PhD from UC Berkeley (2006) and a B.S. from the University of Washington (1999). His research focuses on distributed systems, networking, and digital agriculture, emphasizing fault-tolerance, security, and performance.
