معرفی
Haiying Zhan, MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Yale University's Yale School of Medicine. Their research focuses on breast pathology, oncology, and molecular mechanisms of cancer progression, with a particular emphasis on ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), HER2 protein expression in breast cancer, and ESR1 genetic aberrations. They hold clinical and research appointments in the Department of Pathology and are affiliated with the Breast Pathology division.
Education: PhD from University of Connecticut Health Center (2012), MD from Tongji Medical University (1998). Clinical training includes residency at SUNY Buffalo (2019), and fellowships at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (2020) and Yale School of Medicine (2021).
Research interests span breast tumor biology, prognostic biomarkers, and immunopathology, with recent studies examining therapeutic response in HER2+ cancers and tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte dynamics. Publications (2020-2023) highlight work in clinical pathology, molecular oncology, and immunohistochemical analyses.
No scientific awards are listed, but their work has been published in journals like The Breast, Human Pathology, and Science Advances. They collaborate with researchers such as Malini Harigopal, Uma Krishnamurti, and Neal Fischbach on breast cancer projects.
