Haijun Liu

Haijun Liu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering, Temple University. His research lies at the intersection of sensor technology, bio-inspired mechanics, and advanced materials, with a strong emphasis on both theoretical and experimental approaches.

His research interests include Bio-Inspired Sensing, Acoustic Metamaterials, Theoretical & Experimental Mechanics, Shock Wave & Dynamic Pressure Measurement, and Fiber Optic & MEMS Sensors. He explores novel sensing mechanisms inspired by nature and develops engineered metamaterials for advanced applications in robotics and biomedical devices.
