Hai Luo is Associate Professor at University of Manitoba's Faculty of Social Work, specializing in gerontological social work. Her research examines aging across cultures, social support systems, gambling among older immigrants, and elder abuse in minoritized groups.
Current projects investigate substance use in home care systems and Indigenous economic development roles. Funded research includes studies on virtual reality applications and gambling behaviors.
