Hadar Ziv

Hadar Ziv is an Associate Professor of Teaching in the Informatics Department at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), within the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences. He has been affiliated with UCI for over three decades, having earned his B.S. (1983), M.S. (1990), and Ph.D. (1997) in computer science at the institution. His primary role involves teaching, particularly in capstone project courses where students develop real-world software solutions for corporate and community partners. He emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, blending computer science with fields like anthropology and psychology.

Ziv’s research focuses on software engineering methodologies, Agile/SCRUM practices, cybersecurity, and computer science education.
