HARIZ Marwan

HARIZ Marwan is a Researcher-Lecturer at CESI, specializing in applied mathematics and structural mechanics. He holds a PhD from Université de Rennes 1 (2021) and degrees from the Lebanese University (BSc 2015, MSc 2017). His research focuses on nonlinear structural analysis, material behavior under loading, and the application of advanced mathematical methods like Lie groups to engineering problems. He teaches mathematics, oscillatory systems, and mechanics at both bachelor and engineering levels, emphasizing project-based learning and practical skills.

His research explores critical areas such as post-buckling analysis of beams, bifurcation phenomena, and material deformation under stress. Key contributions include studies on Timoshenko beams under elastic foundations and Kirchhoff rod dynamics. His work bridges theoretical mechanics with practical engineering challenges, leveraging mathematical rigor to solve real-world structural problems.

Marwan supervises research internships for engineering students at CESI Nanterre and actively publishes in top journals like Acta Mechanica and International Journal of Solids and Structures.
