Dr. H. Daniel Ou-Yang is a Professor and Director of the Emulsion Polymers and Engineered Particles Institute (EPI) at Lehigh University. He also serves as a Group Leader in the Biophotonics division of the Lehigh-Penn State University Center for Optical Technologies.
- Education: Ph.D. in Physics from UCLA (1985), M.S. in Physics from Fu-Jen Catholic University (1977), B.S. in Physics from Fu-Jen Catholic University (1975)
His research focuses on experimental soft condensed matter physics, with applications in biophotonics and emulsion polymers. Recent work includes collaborations in cell therapy for cancer treatment.
He has held visiting research positions at institutions including CNRS Laboratory in Strasbourg (2000), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, National Taiwan University, and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (2008).
