Prof. Dr. Güralp Onur Ceyhan is a faculty member at the School of Medicine, Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University, specializing in the Department of Surgical Sciences, General Surgery. As both a scientist and surgeon, he has made significant contributions to pancreatic research and surgery, including founding the Pancreatic Cancer Research Center at Acibadem University.

His research focuses on molecular and genetic mechanisms of pancreatic cancer, pancreatic neuropathy, and neuropathic pain. Over his career, he has secured 10 European projects totaling €1.4 million and two TUBITAK/TUSEB projects worth ₺4.5 million in Turkey. He has published over 227 publications (WoS) and 176 (Scopus), achieving a citation count of 8,746 (WoS) with an h-index of 54.
Scientific awards include membership in Germany's Academy of Excellence (Exzellenzakademie). He has advised 12 theses and contributed to 36 open-access publications. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in health sciences.
Currently, he leads the Pancreatic Cancer Research Center at Acibadem University, advancing research on cancer aetiology and molecular mechanisms.
