Gülin Vardar

Assoc. Prof. Gülin Vardar is a faculty member at Izmir University of Economics, serving as Head of the International Trade and Finance Department. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the same university (2010), with a thesis on risk and efficiency analysis of public banks in Central/Eastern Europe, and earned her MBA in 2005.

Her research focuses on

Publications include studies on Bitcoin returns, green finance, oil price impacts, and macroeconomic factors in E7/OECD countries. She received a TUBITAK scholarship for her visiting researcher role at the University of Texas at Dallas.
