Georgios Magkonis

Dr. Georgios Magkonis is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University of Portsmouth, affiliated with the Faculty of Business & Law and the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Athens. His research focuses on monetary economics, applied macroeconometrics, and meta-analysis across economics and finance, with a particular interest in financial markets' shocks, central bank policies, and network analysis.
