Göran Land is a Lecturer in Industrial Economics at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, School of Information and Engineering, University of Dania. His research focuses on the application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in manufacturing Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), particularly examining how ICT use correlates with adoption of best business practices. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and has contributed to regional studies in Sweden.
Teaching responsibilities include coordinating courses such as Industrial Business Processes (GIE372), Industrial Management (IE1076), and specialized modules in Logistics/Supply Chain Management (GIE26L), Maintenance/Quality (GIE26N), and Lean methodologies (GIE2L7).
His 2004 conference paper at the Nordic Conference on Small Business Research explored ICT's role in enhancing business capabilities within SMEs. Professional activities include academic advising and curriculum development in industrial management disciplines.
