Gökçe DEMİR

Prof. Dr. Gökçe DEMİR is a full-time Professor at Ahi Evran University's Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing. She holds a PhD in Public Health Nursing from Erciyes University (2012), an MSc from Selçuk University (2006), and a BSc from Cumhuriyet University (2000). Her administrative roles include Deputy Director of the Health Sciences Institute (2017-present) and Bologna Coordinator (2015-present).

Research Focus: Her work spans public health nursing with emphasis on geriatric care, epidemiology, women's health, and mental health. Recent studies explore COVID-19 impacts, complementary therapies, and health behaviors across diverse populations including elderly, adolescents, and healthcare professionals.

Publication Trends: Of her 139 publications, recent works (2020-2024) predominantly investigate pandemic-related psychological effects, nursing interventions, and validation of health assessment tools. Methodologies include randomized controlled trials, qualitative phenomenology, and scale development, frequently published in SSCI/SCI-indexed journals.
