Gérard Lange, Ed.D., is a Professor of Art at Barton College's School of Visual, Performing, and Communication Arts, where he also directs the Whitehurst Family Honors Program. His research examines student retention, satisfaction, and motivational factors influenced by personal traits and external environments. Lange's 2018 Boykin Fellowship explored writing's impact on learning, while his 2019 Cork Historical Society grant supported archival research in Ireland.
