Dr. GÖKHAN CANBOLAT is a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University's Rafet Kayış Faculty of Engineering. He holds a Doctorate from Isparta University of Applied Sciences (2020), a Master's in Energy Engineering from Sakarya University (2016), and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Sakarya University (2013). His research focuses on Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), with applications in biomedical engineering and materials science.
Key projects include investigating vascular flow in thoracic aortas using CFD, fracture behavior of 3D-printed polymers, and fluid-structure interactions in composite materials. His work bridges mechanical engineering with medical applications, particularly in hemodynamics and aortic aneurysm analysis. He has contributed to studies on heat exchangers, micro-channel heat sinks, and hybrid electric vehicle performance.
Publications span journals like the Journal of Mechanics in Medicine and Biology and the Journal of Materials Engineering and Performance. His research emphasizes numerical validation, turbulence modeling, and additive manufacturing techniques.
