Gwenn Leatherman

Gwenn Leatherman is an Adjunct Professor at Shenandoah University and the owner of Leatherman Healthcare, LLC, an adult primary care practice in Hagerstown, Maryland. She holds a Master of Science in Family Practice (2016) and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (2020) from Shenandoah University. Prior to this, she earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Notre Dame (2012) and became a registered nurse via Frederick Community College (2009).

Her clinical focus includes acute care, laboratory testing, and holistic primary care for adults. She previously worked at Opal Medical Group and South Mountain Community Health as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Professional memberships include the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Nurse Practitioners Association of Maryland.

Leatherman emphasizes patient collaboration and tailored healthcare solutions, with future plans to expand services to include Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT). She values mentorship, advising family nurse practitioner students at Shenandoah while maintaining connections with alumni networks.
