Gwendolyn A. Cadge is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Bowdoin College, currently on leave to pursue a fellowship at Harvard University through the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Scholars in Health Policy Research Program. Her work bridges sociology, religious studies, and healthcare policy.

Research Interests: Explores religious pluralism, immigration, gender/sexuality dynamics, and the intersection of religion with healthcare systems. Key projects include Heartwood (2005) on Theravada Buddhism in America, and her ongoing Paging God study on religion in hospitals.
