Guy Michaels

Guy Michaels is an Associate Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE), where he has held positions since 2006. He serves as Director of the Labour Markets Research Programme at the Centre for Economic Performance (CEP) and holds research affiliations with institutions such as the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA). His research focuses on Labour Economics, Urban Economics, and Development Economics, with notable work on automation, urbanization, and resource economies.
