Gustaf Henriksson is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oslo's Faculty of Theology. He transitioned to academia after serving as a pastor and teaching at various levels, including Swedish elementary schools, gymnasiums, and folkhögskolor (people's colleges). He holds a Master of Theology (Ma. Th.) from the University of Gothenburg, where his thesis analyzed soteriological themes in Titus 2:11-14 under supervision by Dan Nässelqvist. Since September 2022, his PhD research has focused on salvation theology in 1-2 Timothy and Titus.
His academic interests center on New Testament studies, Pauline literature, soteriology, and hermeneutics. Notable publications include explorations of grace in Titus and Pauline epistemology in 1 Corinthians. Henriksson has presented at international conferences such as the 2019 SBL International Conference in Rome.
He is affiliated with the research group 'Biblical Texts, Cultures and Receptions' and contributes to theological discourse through peer-reviewed journals like Svensk Exegetisk Årsbok and Teologisk Tidsskrift. His work bridges historical exegesis with contemporary theological reflection.
