Gurjog Bagri is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Social and Psychological Sciences at the University of Huddersfield, affiliated with the School of Human and Health Sciences and the Centre for Cognition and Neuroscience. He holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Warwick (2006), an MSc in Cognitive Psychology/Neuropsychology (University of Kent, 2002), an MRes in Biomolecular Science (University of York/University of Cambridge, 2001), and a BSc in Biological Sciences (University of Lancaster/Oregon State University, 1999).
His research focuses on prosocial behavior, autobiographical memory, moral psychology, and eyewitness testimony. Key interests include how perspective (e.g., first-person vs. observer) influences memory recall, the role of trait anxiety in critical thinking, and compensatory behavior following moral/immoral acts.
