Guoquan Chen is a Professor at the Department of Leadership and Organizational Management, Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management. Holding the Henry Kravis Professorship, he serves as Deputy Director of his department and has held editorial roles at Applied Psychology: An International Review and Chinese Journal of Management Science. With PhD and Master degrees from Tsinghua University, he conducted Fulbright research at MIT and Harvard.
Research Focus: His spatiotemporal leadership theory explores how time-space dimensions influence organizational learning, team dynamics, and knowledge management. Key contributions include models for multi-person experiential learning, meta-learning frameworks, and digital transformation processes. Recent work examines chance encounters, collective wisdom, and CEO passion dynamics.
