Dr. Guntars Ermansons is a Lecturer in Social Science, Health & Medicine at King's College London's Department of Global Health & Social Medicine, housed within the School of Global Affairs. He holds a MSc from Brunel University London (2013) and a PhD from King's College London (2019).
His research focuses on migration, forced displacement, refugee mental health, urban anthropology, and the moral economies of drug use. Notable projects include eco-social studies of refugee mental health in urban neighborhoods and analyses of khat consumption among Somali communities in London.
