Guno Park is an Adjunct Associate Professor and artist with a background in classical animation and fine arts. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York, and has taught drawing and figure drawing at institutions including Sheridan College, Seneca College, Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD), and the New York Academy of Art. Park holds a BFA from OCAD and an MFA from the New York Academy of Art.
His research and artistic practice focus on drawing techniques using ballpoint pens, blurring the boundaries between sketches and finished artworks. Park’s works have been featured in Drawing Magazine, Iggy Pop Drawing Class, Subway Stations of the Cross, and Drawn to MoMA Magazine. His drawings are part of private collections globally, including the Brooklyn Museum.
Park’s teaching spans institutions such as SVA, the New York Film Academy, and Marymount College. He emphasizes the transformative potential of everyday tools like ballpoint pens in artistic creation.
