Gunnar Andersson

Gunnar Andersson is an Associate Professor at the Department of Engineering, Østfold University College. He holds a PhD in Enterprise Development and Worklife Research from NTNU (2011) and has been actively involved in regional innovation programs funded by the Research Council of Norway. His academic roles include Head of the Innovation Research Group and supervision of doctoral candidates. Research interests focus on innovation processes, circular economy, industrial symbiosis, and sustainable business models. He has authored books on lean production and innovation, and contributes to projects like FREIIA, exploring design thinking frameworks for public sector resilience.
