Guillaume Decocq

Guillaume Decocq is a Professor of Plant and Fungal Sciences and Hospital Practitioner at the University of Picardy Jules Verne, affiliated with the Faculty of Science. He directs the research unit "Ecology and Dynamics of Anthropized Systems" (Edysan), heads the PRiMAX Functional Unit at Amiens University Hospital, and co-leads the "Environment" axis within the SFR Condorcet research federation.

His educational background encompasses dual doctorates in Pharmacy and Botany. Research focuses on human impacts on forest biodiversity across temperate/tropical systems, integrating historical ecology, landscape dynamics, and spatio-temporal analysis. Key investigations examine nitrogen deposition effects, fragmentation legacies, and microclimate buffering in plant communities.
