Guido Tonelli

Guido Tonelli is an Italian particle physicist and Professor of General Physics at the University of Pisa, known for his pivotal role in the discovery of the Higgs boson at CERN's Large Hadron Collider (LHC). As a CERN visiting scientist, he led the CMS experiment as Spokesperson during 2010-2011, contributing to the confirmation of the Higgs-like boson at 125 GeV/c² in 2012.
