Professor Rossi has established himself as a specialist in the intersection of commerce and law during the Medieval and Early Modern periods. His work reveals how legal principles evolved from Roman law foundations while adapting to emerging commercial practices, with particular attention to Anglo-Italian commercial relations and the historical development of insurance mechanisms.
