Francesco Di Chiara is an Associate Professor in Jurisprudence at the University of Palermo. He is affiliated with the Department of Law, where he holds office hours every Wednesday from 10:00 to 14:00 in room 5, located at Via Maqueda 172, 1st floor, former Section of History of Law.
His research and teaching focus on historical legal disciplines, particularly medieval and modern law. He has supervised theses on topics such as the Sicilian Inquisition, Napoleon's Civil Code, Cesare Beccaria's legal philosophy, and women's economic roles in medieval Italy, indicating expertise in Legal History, Criminal Law, and Enlightenment Thought.
