Guendalina Anzolin

Dr. Guendalina Anzolin is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at King's College London, affiliated with both the King’s Business School and School of Politics & Economics. Her research focuses on industrial economics, technological change, and political economy, examining automation, structural transformation, and industrial policy in emerging and advanced economies. She holds a PhD in Industrial Economics from the University of Urbino (2021) and an MSc in Global Economic Governance from SOAS.

Her current Leverhulme Trust-funded project investigates the political economy of growth models, analyzing export structural changes and industrial relations' roles. She has collaborated with institutions like the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre, UNIDO, and the Inter-American Development Bank on industrial policy and technological adoption.

Research interests span automation impacts on production systems, industrial policy design for structural transformation, and green industrial strategies. Recent work explores FDI-driven technology diffusion in automotive sectors and policy coherence for sustainable development. No scientific awards are listed, but her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to industrial innovation and climate action.

Her consultancy and advisory activities focus on policy design for developing economies, with collaborations extending to South Africa and Latin America. She is part of interdisciplinary teams addressing global value chain dynamics and technological adoption challenges.
