معرفی
Professor Gudrun Heinrich is a Senior Professor at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Department of Physics, where she leads a research group at the Institute for Theoretical Physics. Previously, she held senior positions at the Max Planck Institute in Munich (2011-2020) and Durham University's IPPP (2008-2010).
Her research focuses on precision calculations in collider physics, particularly Higgs physics, heavy quark interactions, and the development of novel computational methods. Her work spans Effective Field Theories for physics beyond the Standard Model, mathematical aspects of scattering amplitudes, and higher-order perturbative calculations in QCD. She has made significant contributions to understanding anomalous couplings in the Higgs sector and developing tools for precision phenomenology.
Her recent publications (2023-2025) demonstrate a strong focus on Higgs boson pair production, SMEFT applications, and NLO QCD corrections across multiple production channels. The research shows consistent development of precision tools and methods for testing Standard Model predictions against LHC data, with particular attention to top-Higgs interactions and potential signatures of new physics.
Professor Heinrich leads an active research group that includes several postdocs and collaborators, working on projects related to Higgs physics and precision calculations. She is involved in multiple software development efforts including pySecDec, GoSam, and EERAD3, which are widely used in the particle physics community for high-precision calculations.
