Professor Grzegorz Trojanowski is a faculty member at the Department of Finance and Accounting, University of Exeter Business School. He holds a PhD in Finance from Tilburg University and has been affiliated with the University of Exeter since 2004. His roles include Director of Research and Impact for the department and Programme Director for the MRes in Finance (PhD pathway).

His research focuses on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) issues, corporate governance mechanisms, gender diversity in top management teams, and sustainability in finance. He investigates how board and executive characteristics influence strategic decisions like green innovation and M&A, as well as the impact of governance structures on CSR and environmental performance.
Professor Trojanowski is affiliated with the Exeter Sustainable Finance Centre (ESF) and contributes to United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 12, 13, 5, and 8. His career progression includes roles as Director of the Xfi Centre for Finance and Investment (2015-2019) and Co-Head of the Finance and Accounting Department (2019).
