Dr. Griffin Edwards is an associate professor of economics in the Collat School of Business at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where he has been employed since 2013. He previously taught at Southern Utah University and Spelman College while completing his law and economics studies at Emory University. His research focuses on empirical legal and economic analysis of policing, mental health laws, discrimination, and firearm policy, with publications in top-tier law reviews and economics journals.
