Greta Bladh

Greta Bladh is a lecturer and postdoctoral researcher in sociology at Mid Sweden University's Department of Human and Social Sciences. With a PhD in gender studies, her work critically examines how gender norms shape bodily experiences in sporting contexts, particularly within gym culture and public outdoor fitness spaces.

Her research focuses on inclusion/exclusion dynamics in fitness environments and sociocultural aspects of physical activity. Key projects include analyzing vulnerable inclusiveness in Swedish gyms and studying the construction of fitness subjectivity through digital platforms.
