Gregory K. Johnson is a tenured Professor and Program Director for Digital Media Technology at Polk State College. He earned a Ph.D. in Education with a concentration in Instructional Technology from the University of Central Florida, a master’s in Education (Instructional Technology) from Southern Illinois University, and associate/bachelor’s degrees from Saint Louis Christian College.

His research focuses on the influence of technology on teaching and learning, with peer-reviewed publications on Linux system administration pedagogy and screen time effects on child development. - Endowed Teaching Chair Award (2016) with $5,000 scholarship
- Distinguished New Faculty award (2013 International Conference on College Teaching and Learning)
- Holmes Scholar designation at UCF (2007-2009)

He actively collaborates with stakeholders to enhance educational infrastructure and has presented at international conferences, including a workshop in Macau, China. His work bridges academic theory with practical implementation in digital media and instructional technology.
