Gregory David Durgin

Gregory David Durgin is a Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech, specializing in electromagnetics. His research focuses on backscatter radio, wireless channel modeling, radiolocation, and wireless power transfer. He authored the seminal textbook Space-Time Wireless Channels and has held editorial positions for IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications and IEEE Journal on RFID.

His extensive scientific contributions have been recognized with numerous awards including the NSF CAREER Award, IEEE Microwave Magazine Best Paper Award, and he currently serves as an IEEE CRFID Distinguished Lecturer.
