Gregory D. Cramer, DC, PhD, is a Professor in the Department of Research and Basic Sciences at National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) and serves as Dean of the Department of Research. With a career spanning over three decades, he combines chiropractic practice, research, and education to advance spinal manipulation science.
- Education: BS and DC from National College of Chiropractic (1977, 1979), PhD from Medical College of Ohio (1987).
His research focuses on the anatomical and physiological mechanisms of chiropractic adjustments, particularly zygapophyseal joint dynamics and adhesion breakup. He has led over 25 externally funded projects, including NIH-supported work, and co-authored the textbook Basic and Clinical Anatomy of the Spine, Spinal Cord, and ANS.
