Gregory D'Alessio is an Associate Professor of Music at Cleveland State University and coordinator of the university's electronic and computer music studios. He is also the architect of the new B.A. degree in popular music at CSU.
Research and Creative Work
D'Alessio's work spans concert music, mixed media, and electronic music composition. His full-length mixed-media opera The World Above Us was presented by Cleveland Public Theater in 2013, and has been performed by prestigious ensembles including The Da Capo Chamber Players, Slee Sinfonietta, and Cleveland Chamber Symphony.
