Gregory Clark is a Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Southern Denmark (SDU) and holds positions as a Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics (LSE) and Distinguished Professor Emeritus at UC Davis. He leads the Historical Economics and Development Group (HEDG) and currently holds a DNRF Chair funded by a 10 million DKK grant. His research focuses on the economic history of England, the Industrial Revolution, and social mobility, with over 80 publications in leading journals like Journal of Political Economy and PNAS. He has authored multiple books with Princeton University Press and serves on editorial boards of journals such as Journal of Economic History.
