Gregor Urban is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Music of the Music and Arts Private University of Vienna (MUK), where he has taught since 1994. He specializes in piano accompaniment and chamber music performance, with extensive experience as a repetiteur and soloist. Urban studied at the Vienna Conservatory (now MUK) under Branko Cuberka, David Lutz, and Christo Stanischeff, focusing on accompaniment and piano, and later at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts under Otmar Suitner in music accompaniment and conducting.
His artistic practice centers on collaborative piano performance, instrumental accompaniment, and chamber music. Urban performs regularly at prominent venues including the Vienna Konzerthaus, Bösendorfer Hall, and Steinway House Vienna, and is affiliated with the Steinway Club Cyprus.
