Greg Woolf is a Professor of Ancient Mediterranean Studies and the Leon Levy Director at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) since 2025. Previously, he held distinguished positions at the University of London (2015-2021), the University of St Andrews (1998-2014), and Oxford University (1993-1998). His academic career also includes visiting roles in Brazil, France, and Spain, as well as editorial and leadership activities in classical scholarship.
