Greg Gillespie is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication, Popular Culture and Film at Brock University. His research focuses on non-mass-mediated popular culture, including role-playing games, sport culture, and Scottishness in media. He holds a PhD from the University of Western Ontario and has taught courses on popular culture, digital games, and Highlandism.
