Greg Fink, PhD, is a Professor and Associate Department Chair in the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology at Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine. His research focuses on cardiovascular pharmacology, particularly mechanisms of hypertension and vascular dysfunction. He leads a lab investigating perivascular adipose tissue (PVAT) biology, renal physiology, and sex-based differences in cardiovascular health.
Dr. Fink's work combines molecular, cellular, and systems-level approaches to understand hypertension pathophysiology. He teaches the course PHM 802: Cellular, Molecular and Integrated Systems Pharmacology. His lab currently includes staff member Hannah Garver. He is affiliated with the Life Sciences Building in East Lansing, MI.
Recent research highlights include studies on high-fat diet effects on PVAT, comparative blood pressure measurement techniques in rodents, and the role of renal denervation in genetically hypertensive models. His findings contribute to translational strategies for hypertension treatment and disease modeling.
