Greet Van Den Berghe is a Professor of Medicine and Head of the Department & Laboratory of Intensive Care Medicine at KU Leuven – University of Leuven, Belgium. With over 280 peer-reviewed publications, she specializes in the endocrinology of critical illness, focusing on metabolic and endocrine responses to stress, mitochondria, autophagy, and epigenetics.
