Grant Parker is an Associate Professor at Stanford University, with appointments in the Department of Classics and African and African American Studies. He also holds a courtesy appointment in Comparative Literature. Since joining Stanford in 2006, he has led projects like Aftermaths of Enslavement: Curating Legacies, Egypt in South Africa, and Voortrekker Monumentality, focusing on colonial ideologies and legacies of enslavement through digital databases.
