Graham Nutbrown serves as a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Education, where he teaches units on the BA (Hons) Education with Psychology programme and MA Education programme while supervising dissertations. He currently holds the position of Director of Studies for the BA Education with Psychology programme.
His research focuses on Philosophy of Education, Social and Political Epistemology (including epistemic justice), Curriculum Theory, and Dialogic Pedagogy. Current projects examine education and political epistemology, along with group belief in educational leadership contexts.
Analysis of his recent publications reveals consistent exploration of distributed leadership frameworks through epistemic injustice lenses, historical philosophical figures (Hazlitt, Godwin, Wollstonecraft), and literary-philosophical interpretations of educational spaces like Yeats' schoolroom imagery.

Prior to his current academic role, Nutbrown served as Head of the English Faculty at a comprehensive school, teaching Media Studies, Philosophy, and Critical Thinking. He completed his PhD in Philosophy of Education at the UCL Institute of Education, where he previously worked part-time as a tutor on the BA (Hons) Education Studies programme.
