Dr. Graham McShane is a Senior Lecturer in Solid Mechanics at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of Queens’ College. His research focuses on the mechanics of lightweight materials under dynamic loads like impact and blast, with applications in composite modeling, additive manufacturing for aerospace/personal protection, and aerogel composites. He supervises Cambridge Engineering students through both small-group supervisions and large-group lectures.
