Graham Brownlow is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at Queen's Business School, Queen's University Belfast. He serves as Associate Director of International Communications and Co-Editor of Irish Economic and Social History. His affiliations include the Economics Centre for Economic History and the Senator George J Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice. His research focuses on the intersection of economics and history, particularly in Ireland, and explores institutional economics, the economic organization of violence, and communication of economics through pedagogy and public understanding.
Key areas of research include the methodology of economic history, applied institutional economics, and the economic implications of political decentralization such as Brexit. He has been interviewed widely on topics like Northern Ireland's economy, paramilitary economics, and regional policy.
