معرفی
Grace Buddle is a Researcher in the Department of Immunobiology at Yale University School of Medicine. She works in Ann Haberman's Lab, investigating cellular and molecular interactions in germinal center reactions during adaptive immune responses, with a focus on tertiary lymphoid structures and their role in autoimmunity. She holds a combined B.S. and M.S. in Biotechnology from Penn State University (2023 and 2024, respectively). Her master's research included a co-op at Merck, where she developed 3D whole-brain histological methods to study Alzheimer’s Disease pathology in mouse models, advancing diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for neurodegenerative diseases.
Education:
- B.S., Biotechnology, Penn State University (2023)
- M.S., Biotechnology, Penn State University (2024)
Research Interests: Her work bridges immunology and neurodegeneration. Key areas include understanding how recurring interactions between germinal center B cells and T follicular helper cells drive autoimmune pathologies, and applying 3D histological techniques to study neurodegenerative diseases. She explores how tertiary lymphoid structures contribute to chronic inflammation in autoimmune contexts.
Labs/Teams: Located at The Anlyan Center (300 Cedar Street, New Haven, CT), she collaborates with the Haberman Lab to advance translational immunology research.
