Grégory Ponthiere is a Professor of Economics at École Normale Supérieure de Rennes and a Research Fellow at the CREM (UMR 6211). His work focuses on economic theory and the ethical foundations of the welfare state.
Research Interests:
- Economic Theory: Long-run dynamics, poverty, well-being
- Welfare State Ethics: Social insurance, pensions, health, and family policies
